In Africa, especially in Mombasa,
Kenya where majority of the young people indulge in
crime and consumption of alcohol and drugs due to idleness, inheritance
difficulties and unemployment. Therefore, we are able to combat these obstacles
by establishing an Initiative which is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit, Non-Partisan
and Non-Religious voluntary organization known as BADILISHA YOUTH FOUNDATION which is a vital voice for the volunteered
youths in Mombasa, Kenya and its aim was to promote Life, Peace and Socio-Economic
Based development, to provide means for poverty alleviation by training the teens,
youths and women in health, education, environment, entrepreneurship and income
generating activities such as starting their own business and savings groups.
The organization too has a force saving scheme where members save and borrow to
empower individually and the community economically.
